Starcraft 2

StarCraft II is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game currently under development by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft. First announced on May 19, 2007, in Seoul, South Korea, StarCraft II is being developed for concurrent release on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS X. The game has no certain release date although a multiplayer demonstration was playable at BlizzCon 2007, and i believe it will be release in this year.

StarCraft II retains some units from the original game, although some of these units have been given new abilities. Due to story events from the previous game, some units have been phased out or replaced. For example, the conquest of the Protoss homeworld of Aiur has prevented the creation of more Dragoons - the transplanted forms of Protoss warriors in exoskeletons - resulting in the remaining Dragoons to be redesigned with different weaponry and a shield that absorbs heavy damage and renamed to "Immortals".

StarCraft II will only feature the three original races in standard multiplayer: Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. It has been confirmed that there will not be a fourth race introduced. However, when asked about the possibility of Hybrids and Xel'Naga in the game, Blizzard Entertainment employee Karune replied that "we are planning to explore the mysteries surrounding the Xel'naga for the single player campaign. In the campaign you will encounter several unique units that would not otherwise be seen in multiplayer."

Terran Units & Building
THOR
Built By : SCV
Armament : "Thor's Hammer" Particle Accelerators, 250mm Bombardment Cannon
Role : Ultimate Heavy-assault Mech

THOR is very huge machine or can say it is a robot. It have super heavy canon fire on the back which it enough to destroy anything! Even it can destroy Terran main based by itself in very short time. However it movement is slow, and from the trailer they show how to counter 1 THOR with a few units, which require them to keep running around the robot XD.

command center
The command center or the main base of Terran is now able to build a turret/defense gun on top of it. There are many players like the strategies to attack enemies resources, and now this Terran base able to protect its worker (SCV) to mining.

Sensor Tower

In Starcraft 2 there is a new building, sensor tower. As the building name players will straight understand what it use to. It can detect enemies unit which approaching the tower or the enemy's building is nearby. Useful to counter ambush or any surprise attack.

Protoss Unit

Mothership
Builds From : Stargate
Armament : Disruptor Pulse
Role : Capital Ship

Mothership is a heavy airship and the gun power is strong. It have 2 types of attack, 1st is the missiles attack which the mothership can shoot multiple units. 2nd is the laser beam and it is only able to shoot 1 line straight under mothership to ground, but it is very powerful.

Colossus
Builds From : Robotics Facility
Armament : Twin Thermal Lances
Role : Heavy Support

Have you played C&C Tiberium Wars? did you noe the alien unit which have a few hands can shoot laser? Colossus is almost as same as that! If no mistaken it can shoot 4 laser at the same time to 1 unit. It can shot on 1 target very longtime (seem like nonstop)..

Stalker
The Dark templar is new unit which able to swift and deadly, stalkers have been credited with many fantastic powers in recent conflicts. Nevertheless the only one that has been witnessed consistently is the ability to instantly teleport or 'blink' from one spot to another. This ability enables stalkers to strike from unexpected quarters, catch a fleeing foe, or escape an unfavorable encounter.
